Hulk Hogan Has Done Nothing For Wrestling

Yes. You read that headline 100% correctly. Hulk Hogan has done NOTHING for wrestling. He has done absolutely nothing to give back to the industry. Nothing. All the man has done is take and take and take. And his latest comments prove exactly that. In a recent podcast interview, Hulk Hogan said that a lot of current wrestlers “look like they should be bagging my groceries”. And commented that he couldn’t do in one year what they do in one match. He later criticized the current safety measures in place with wrestling and injuries while praising himself as an attraction and saying the only stars now are the “production”.

Hulk Hogan, you have done nothing for wrestling.

You are a man who held so many superstars back in your time: “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Rick Rude, Paul Orndorff, Jake “The Snake”, Ted DiBiase, and the list can go on and on.

Randy Savage should’ve easily been the babyface in your feud because you made everything from WrestleMania IV onwards about yourself.

You kicked out right after 3 at WrestleMania VI vs The Ultimate Warrior and acted like a baby handing over the title.

Instead of allowing a new star in The Undertaker to have a run with the title, you pre-planned a way to get it back before even losing it and used your politics to get your way back to the title within days. Making an enemy out of The Undertaker? Bad move.

You took the main event slot in WrestleMania VIII in a non-title match.

Instead of being content with the tag team titles with Brutus Beefcake, you sauntered down to the ring at WrestleMania 9 to win the world title FOR NO REASON!

You refused to drop the title to Bret Hart like you should have done, and then lost it to Yokozuna after a screwy finish, cause Lord help us if Hulk Hogan actually loses clean.

LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU DID IN WCW!!!

Hulk Hogan, you have never once changed or learned a thing in your career. All you have done is take. You have never truly given back to wrestling. And that is why no one gives a crap about you anymore or your “legacy”. And now, you’re a washed up, hasbeen, bitter old man who can’t stand the fact that these superstars today do what they do better than you ever could, and unlike you, they don’t do it for money. They do it because they love it.
