News regarding Tanga Loa’s return to WWE at the 2024 Backlash PLE

As seen during the 2024 WWE Backlash PLE, Tama Tonga’s brother Tanga Loa made his return to the company and helped The Bloodline defeat Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. Tanga previously wrestled in WWE from 2011 to 2014 as Camacho.

In regards to Tanga’s return, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…

“Tanga Loa’s deal and Tama Tonga’s were actually together, it’s just that… the Tanga Loa thing it didn’t get out because New Japan never announced it (his contract was coming due), they never gave him a farewell. WWE obviously never announces anything like this, but this is not like something from the last two weeks, this deal was decided on months ago.”

On May 4th, WWE filed for “Tonga Loa” & “Tanga Loa” under the entertainment services classification with The United States Patent and Trademark Office. Here is the description for the trademarks…
