Bryan Danielson officially challenges Kazuchika Okada to a rematch despite his broken orbital bone injury
As previously noted, Bryan Danielson suffered a broken orbital bone and is expected be out of action until the end of 2023. In storyline terms, Kazuchika Okada was blamed for Bryan’s injury.
Despite Bryan being hurt, he has officially challenged Okada to a rematch at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4th 2024. Bryan defeated Okada in their first encounter at the AEW/NJPW Forbidden Door PPV event in June. A video of Bryan wearing an eyepatch aired during NJPW’s Power Struggle event.
