Results of FTR vs. Aussie Open for the tag team titles at AEW WrestleDream 2023

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) for the AEW tag team titles took place at AEW WrestleDream 2023. Here are the highlights…

* Fletcher took a cheap shot at Harwood on the apron but it didn’t stop FTR’s momentum in the early moments of the match. Davis tagged in and exchanged hard shots with Harwood. Davis used his power and gained the upper hand for his team.

* All four men ended up on the outside and Aussie Open smashed Harwood and Wheeler’s backs into each other. Back in the ring, Aussie Open worked over the back of Wheeler. Wheeler managed to hit a top rope back suplex but Harwood had been knocked off the apron and Wheeler couldn’t tag out. Harwood was eventually able to tag back in.

* Harwood’s momentum did not last not Aussie Open nearly put away Harwood with the Aussie Arrow double team move. Wheeler tagged back in but was almost beaten by Aussie Open. FTR delivered the superplex/splash combo on Davis but Fletcher was able to break up the pin.

* Things broke down again with all four men in the ring. Aussie Open were on the verge of winning the titles but Harwood was able to save Wheeler. FTR gave Davis a spike piledriver on the apron. Back in the ring, FTR hit a super shatter machine to pin Fletcher.
