Mustafa Ali announces that he is no longer working for WWE
Mustafa Ali has been appearing on the WWE NXT brand as of late and there were plans for him to face Dominik Mysterio at the NXT No Mercy PLE on September 30th 2023. During this week’s edition of NXT, Ali stated that he would be appearing on next Monday’s RAW to watch Dominik’s North American title match against Dragon Lee.
However, Ali wrote the following on Twitter/X on Thursday morning…

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted, “there are rumblings that there will be some talent cuts today in WWE unfortunately.” Twitter account Boozer aka Better Wrestling Experience #BWE, which has been leaking plans for WWE television in recent months, wrote that Ali’s departure was a “mutual decision” between him and WWE.
