News regarding investigation into the CM Punk and Jack Perry incident at AEW All In

As previously noted, it was confirmed by Sports Illustrated that CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended by AEW due to their backstage altercation at the 2023 All In PPV event.

There is an ongoing investigation in regards to the incident. Fightful Select was told that statements and interviews about the nature of what happened are in the process of being collected. Fightful also stated the following…

“We’re told there is footage of the incident, as there are cameras all over Wembley. In addition we have learned that Punk and Tony Khan had an interaction that was described as ‘contentious,’ but little context was provided.”

During Thursday’s media call to promote the All Out PPV, Khan said he can’t comment on if Punk will be at the event and they are continuing to investigate the Punk/Perry incident.
