CM Punk and Jack Perry confirmed to have been suspended by AEW due to backstage altercation

As previously noted, CM Punk reportedly threatened to “quit” AEW over frustration with a backstage incident involving him and Jack Perry at AEW All In 2023.

On Monday, word circulated around that Punk and Perry were possibly suspended. On Tuesday morning, SI.com reported the following…

“CM Punk and Jack Perry have both been suspended for an altercation before the start of the All In pay-per-view, Sports Illustrated has confirmed. The incident remains under investigation by AEW.”

At this moment, it is unknown how long the investigation will last. The timing of the situation is unfortunate for AEW as the company has three shows coming up in Punk’s hometown of Chicago including Dynamite, Collision, and the All Out PPV.
