How much money Shane McMahon made from WWE in 2022 revealed

As previously noted, it was reported Shane McMahon was quietly “let go” from WWE after receiving backstage heat for his producing work during the men’s 2022 Royal Rumble match.

In a recent SEC filing, Shane McMahon’s compensation as an “independent contractor performer” for 2022 was revealed…

“Shane B. McMahon is the son of Mr. McMahon. In 2022, Shane McMahon was retained as an independent contractor performer by the Company and received an aggregate of approximately $828,000 in connection with such services.”

The Rumble match was Shane’s only televised appearance in 2022. Sportskeeda.com noted that Shane was in the match for 5:38 or 338 seconds which would mean he was paid $2449 per second for his appearance. It’s believed that Shane was still involved with WWE in an outside of the ring capacity following the 2022 Rumble PLE.
