WWE reportedly offered crew members “hazard pay” for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia
Despite escalating violence in the Middle East, WWE has been moving forward with plans for the 2026 Crown Jewel PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During TKO’s investor call on Wednesday, Mark Shapiro stated that “the risk is extremely minimal.”
According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE is offering crew members an additional $3,000 in hazard pay to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for Crown Jewel. This is not something the company traditionally offers for standard crew responsibilities.
WrestleVotes reportedly spoke with two WWE employees who confirmed the amount being offered. However, despite the additional compensation, several crew members have opted out of making the trip amid concerns about traveling to Saudi Arabia.
