During the October 21st 2026 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight defeated Adam Copeland and AEW World Champion Will Ospreay by pinfall after Fletcher hit Copeland with a brainbuster.

Post-match, Ospreay and Copeland were attacked in a three-on-two assault, with Kazuchika Okada hitting Copeland with a Rainmaker. Jake Doyle, Mark Davis, and Wardlow then made their way to the ring as Don Callis joined the attack with the AEW World Championship in hand.

Ospreay attempted to fight off all six men but was taken down by a clothesline from Wardlow. Callis presented the title to Fletcher, who struck Ospreay with it before holding it high.

The lights went out, and Darby Allin appeared on the stage with a baseball bat. He handed it to the returning Steven Borden, and the two fought Davis and Doyle on the aisle. Nick Jackson then emerged wielding a paddle oar. The Don Callis Family retreated, and Borden took the microphone to announce that he was back for Blood & Guts.

The announced lineup is Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Steven Borden, and The Young Bucks against Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, and Wardlow.
