Wrestler Syko Stu says he suffered a “severe traumatic brain injury” from Raja Jackson’s attack
At a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in 2025, there was an incident involving Raja Jackson, the son of MMA fighter Rampage Jackson, and independent wrestler Syko Stu. Prior to the show, there was a confrontation between the two men and during Stu’s match, Raja got into the ring and attacked him.
Raja was released from jail on September 29th 2026 after serving a 90-day sentence. Twelve days later, Stu spoke with the SOS Podcast to discuss his ongoing recovery. Here is what he had to say…
“I remember waking up on Tuesday and seeing some of the wrestlers. Rikshi was there, and we were talking. After Tuesday, I started remembering a little bit more. I was basically trying to recover so I could get out of the hospital. I didn’t like being in the hospital.
They wouldn’t show me [the video] in the hospital. They wouldn’t even tell me what happened. It wasn’t until I got home after I got out of the hospital that I saw it.
They [his family] were a little mad. They were a little upset, but I have a very strong support group in my family, and they’ve definitely been helping me.
I got there on Saturday, and I was discharged on Thursday. They wouldn’t let me leave the hospital until I met all the requirements. You have to use the bathroom, walk, and do all that stuff. I remember I really had to relearn how to walk. I couldn’t walk after that for a while.
I did have a severe traumatic brain injury. I lost these two teeth up here, and I shattered my maxilla. I know there’s more stuff, but I just can’t remember it off the top of my head.
I was actually off work for an entire year because of the severe traumatic brain injury. In my job, you have to think a lot and do a lot of computer work and stuff like that. I was off work for an entire year, just going to doctor’s appointments.
I’m still waiting for the dental work on my teeth. They’re giving me implants for these teeth. I’m also still seeing doctors who specialize in traumatic brain injuries, so it’s an ongoing thing.”
