Ric Flair on Tony Khan: “He’s generous, I work for him and I don’t do anything”
During an interview with NewsNation, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair commented on AEW President Tony Khan. Here is what Flair had to say…
“Tony’s a great guy, generous to a fault. With all the work that he has, he does three TV shows a week, and the Jaguars, who are kicking ass right now, he’ll be in England with the Jaguars. I mean, he just keeps moving, man. He’s got that Learjet, he’s got a beautiful girlfriend, and he’s a nice guy. He’s generous.
I work for him, and I don’t do anything. I think he takes care of me out of respect for me. He grew up on me, and he’s just a wonderful guy.
It’s not that the guys in WWE aren’t great. I just think they’re all trying to hang on to their jobs because you never know. They’ve fired so many people. They were an integral part of my career when I was there, and I don’t understand the rhyme or reason for it. Some of the people who did my documentary on Peacock, which was fantastic, by the way, have been fired. Two of the guys who helped produce it have been fired, though obviously not Tom Rinaldi. They just do what they want to do.”
