The identity of Shinsuke Nakamura’s tag team partner has seemingly been revealed

In a video published to WWE’s social media accounts, Shinsuke Nakamura addressed Tama and Talla Tonga winning the WWE tag team championships. Here is what Nakamura had to say…

“MFTs, congratulations. You are now the champions. Are you savoring the feeling, knowing it’ll be gone soon? Was the victory as sweet knowing what’s coming next? Me, my partner, your destruction. My partner is what you all pretend to be: experienced, vicious, deadly. He is chaos. He’s a ticking time bomb. Take cover.”

Hiromu Takahashi, who finished up with NJPW in February and was subsequently reported to be WWE-bound, appears to be the mystery name being teased. Takahashi is famously known as “The Ticking Time Bomb,” making the reference to a ticking time bomb a strong indication that the former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion is involved. Reports previously indicated that both Takahashi and former EVIL, now known as Naraku, were expected to join WWE.
