Early news regarding WWE’s creative discussions for top matches at WrestleMania 43
According to WrestleVotes Radio, early creative plans for WWE WrestleMania 43 are beginning to take shape, with sources indicating that Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi is a leading possibility. Several people within the company reportedly view the match as a potential main event.
It was also noted that WWE hopes to feature Rhea Ripley prominently on the women’s side of the card, provided she can recover from her injury in time. Rhea has been out of action since suffering a knee injury at WWE Clash in Italy in late May.
Cody Rhodes and CM Punk are also expected to have significant roles on the show. One source suggested that WWE could revisit Punk vs. Cody as another top-billed match, although this was speculation about a potential direction rather than a confirmed plan.
While not officially confirmed, WrestleMania 43 is currently expected to take place on April 10th and 11th 2027.
The early WrestleMania 43 creative discussions are underway and include Oba Femi vs. Roman Reigns and CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes, with a desire to feature Rhea Ripley prominently on the show, health permitting, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has learned.
