Cody Rhodes on potentially taking time off from WWE: “I’ve got the bug for TV and film, I’m obsessed”
While speaking to TheSportster.com, WWE star Cody Rhodes commented on what else he wants to accomplish in his life. Cody stated the following…
“I got to talk to the ultimate QB1, Tom Brady, not long ago, and I asked Tom, I said, ‘What did you do once you’d won and then lost, but you’d already been to the big dance?’ His answer stuck with me about winning for everyone else.
We’re at a crossroads in my career, no pun intended. I’m not going to lie to the wrestling fans. I’ve got the bug for TV and film. I’m obsessed. There might be some things that come up where I leave for a minute to do them. There might be some things we haven’t talked about. I want that to grow as a storyteller and an artisan, and always be able to bring that back home to a WWE that now allows me to do it, with Nick Khan and Triple H allowing that element of it.
But when I’m at WWE, part of where I’m at now is I want everybody else to win.”
