WWE reportedly decides against the idea of re-branding the Judgment Day faction
As seen during the 2024 WWE Summerslam PLE, Damian Priest lost the world heavyweight title to Gunther after being betrayed by his Judgment Day teammate Finn Balor. Priest, along with Rhea Ripley, were kicked out of the Judgment Day faction and are now known as the Terror Twins.
After the event, it was reported that a re-branding for Judgment Day was potentially in the works. In an update on the matter, Twitter/X account @WrestleVotes noted the following…
“A good follow up on this: looks like they heard the outcry! Source claims the name Judgment Day will remain, however the slogan ‘Street Trash’ will be incorporated within the groups gimmick. The ‘Street Trash’ idea came directly from Finn Balor, with merchandising concepts already completed and approved.”
