Finn Balor’s “Demon” persona returns to confront Gunther on WWE SmackDown

During the October 30th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, fans learned that Danhausen’s evil experiment was “Demon” Finn Balor. Gunther watched as Balor entered the ring to confront him.

Balor dodged a clothesline and connected with two Slingblades. Gunther delivered a chop to the chest, but Balor responded with a neckbreaker. Gunther then struck him with a belt, but Balor continued his attack with another Slingblade and a dropkick that sent Gunther through a table.

At ringside, Balor retrieved a ladder from underneath the ring and struck Gunther with it. He then climbed the ladder and delivered a Coup de Grace through the announce table.

Danhausen posed alongside Balor as the segment came to an end.
