Update on Randy Orton after he was removed from 2026 Fanatics Fest advertisements

Randy Orton has reportedly been recovering from a back injury since WWE WrestleMania 42. Orton was originally scheduled to appear at this weekend’s Fanatics Fest convention in New York City, but the Fanatics website listed Orton under talent who “will no longer be attending Fanatics Fest.”

According to WrestleVotes Radio, sources within WWE say Orton is still expected to be in New York this weekend despite his autograph and photo opportunities being removed from the website. The report added that people at Fanatics are also expecting him to attend the event.

WrestleVotes emphasized that it is not reporting Orton will return at Saturday Night’s Main Event, stating that any connection between his expected presence in New York and a possible WWE appearance is purely speculation. It was previously reported that an internal document distributed in June referenced both Orton and Drew McIntyre in connection with WWE SummerSlam 2026.
