New report about LA Knight’s WWE contract claims the two sides are “far apart on money” for now
As previously noted, LA Knight and WWE officials have reportedly been negotiating a new long-term deal and the contract is either close to being finalized or has already been signed.
In regards to this report that originated from PWInsider.com, Fightful Select noted the following…
“We’re told the two sides were far apart on money as of now, and that no deal has been agreed to, and doesn’t appear imminent, but they’ll keep negotiating. Another WWE higher up said that there isn’t truth to the idea that LA Knight’s push was tied to a new contract, citing that a significant number of wrestlers on the roster have deals coming up next year and are still getting pushes.”
It’s believed that Knight’s current WWE deal runs well into 2025 so his contract is not on the verge of expiring.
