News regarding the Lucha Brothers tag team potentially reforming in WWE
As seen during the April 4th 2025 edition of WWE Smackdown, Rey Fenix made his debut against Nathan Frazer. Since his arrival in WWE, fans have speculated about the Lucha Brothers tag team reuniting. However, Rey is currently on the Smackdown roster while Penta is on the RAW roster.
In regards to Penta and Fenix potentially reforming, Fightful Select noted the following…
“Yes, they’ll absolutely be together at some point in the future. When I asked someone associated with the creative, they thought that both were capable of holding their own separately, generating buzz on their own, and then can create a big moment whenever they reunite.”
