Gunther won’t be able to wrestle at the 2024 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE
Intercontinental champion Gunther successfully defended his title at a WWE live event in Berlin, Germany on October 28th 2023 against Bronson Reed. Despite being the longest reigning IC champion in history, Gunther was not booked for the 2023 Crown Jewel PLE.
According to an article from Germany’s Krone newspaper, Gunther is now unable to leave the United States for the next six months due to strict residency regulations. Gunther, who was born in Austria, now resides in Orlando, FL. In addition to missing Crown Jewel, Gunther will also be unable to wrestle at the 2024 Elimination Chamber PLE which is going to be held in Perth, Australia.
It was noted in the article that Gunther only saw his wife for six days in October and the situation will give him more time to spend with her.
