Swerve Strickland’s opponent for AEW Double or Nothing 2024 revealed
The May 1st 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite kicked off with AEW world champion Swerve Strickland looking to find out his challenger for the Double or Nothing PPV event. The Young Bucks appeared on the screen and picked Christian Cage as Swerve’s opponent.
Christian came to the ring and took a cheap shot at Swerve. Swerve fought back but was outnumbered by Christian’s group. Christian laid out Swerve with a Killswitch on the AEW title belt.
