CM Punk reportedly suffered a “serious” injury during AEW All Out 2022

As previously noted, there were rumors that CM Punk injured his triceps. The belief is that it happened during the match with Jon Moxley at AEW All Out and he was already hurt by the time the altercation with The Elite happened.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com confirmed that Punk was injured during the Moxley match and he noted the following via Twitter…

”Punk injury, believed to be from the tope [dive], is serious. Rumors from Sunday but he hadn’t confirmed them but it’s been confirmed to me no matter what happens discipline-wise that the title situation has to be changed and addressed tonight. Just to make it clear, Punk is home in Chicago, not in Buffalo.”

According to F4WOnline.com, Punk’s injury will require surgery even if he isn’t fired or suspended.
