Adam Cole said to be having a meeting with Vince McMahon backstage at Smackdown
As previously noted, WWE NXT star Adam Cole is believed to be in the process of negotiating a new contract with WWE. Cole’s WWE contract ended after the Great American Bash show but he extended it though Summerslam weekend.
Fightful Select is reporting the following about Cole…
“WWE sources have indicated that Cole is scheduled to be backstage at tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown for what is being called a ‘high level meeting’ with Vince McMahon.”
There is no word regarding if Cole will appear on the Smackdown broadcast.
Cole is scheduled to have a “face-to-face” with Kyle O’Reilly on next Tuesday’s episode of NXT.
