Gunther gets into physical confrontation with Nick Aldis after WWE Night of Champions goes off the air
As seen during the 2026 WWE Night of Champions PLE, Sami Zayn defeated Cody Rhodes and Gunther to win the WWE title for the first time in his career.
After the broadcast went off the air, Gunther got into a physical confrontation with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. It started when Gunther made the following remarks…
“You screwed me over in Europe, you screwed me here. You’re jealous. You would love to be in my position. You’re jealous because you are a failed wrestler yourself! You’re miserable!”
Gunther poked his finger into Aldis’ chest, and Aldis responded by shoving him while saying, “Get the f*ck off of me.” Gunther then grabbed at Aldis, and officials had to separate the two.
