Tessa Blanchard comments on her departure from TNA Wrestling
It was reported this week that Tessa Blanchard has departed TNA Wrestling after requesting and receiving her release from the company. While speaking to CMLL Inform, Tessa commented on the situation and here is the translation from Spanish to English…
“The truth is that I’ve received a lot of messages from friends, from people, and from news outlets, and I haven’t responded to any of them until now.
I want to clear things up, and I want to make it clear that I have a life here. I feel very happy here, and the company in the United States asked me, ‘Tessa, you need to make a decision whether you’re a wrestler for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre or whether you’re a wrestler for TNA.’
And I took my time to think about that, and I talked about it a lot with my father, whom I trust very much. Thinking about all of this, my life is here.
I’m not just another foreigner; I’m the most Mexican gringa there is. I have many goals here. Over there, I reached the top of the mountain—I won everything there—but here I have many goals and accomplishments still to pursue.
So I need to focus a lot on my career and my life here in Mexico. From this moment on, I am 100% with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre.”
