Report: The reason why Liv Morgan’s match with Stephanie Vaquer at WWE WrestleMania 42 was kept short
As seen during WWE WrestleMania 42 Saturday, Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the WWE Women’s World Title. The match lasted approximately 6 minutes and 50 seconds.
Ahead of the event, Liv’s status had been uncertain after she was reportedly been put into concussion protocol following a head collision with Roxanne Perez during a backstage segment.
Sources indicated to BodySlam+ that both Liv and Stephanie were banged up heading into WrestleMania 42. As a result, WWE reportedly opted to keep the match brief in order to avoid the risk of either competitor aggravating their condition on the company’s biggest stage of the year.
In regards to Liv’s new entrance theme Trouble, BodySlam+ reported that there were discussions about using Reneé Rapp’s song Leave Me Alone instead. It is currently unknown why that idea was ultimately not used. Trouble was reportedly produced with a similar sound and style to Leave Me Alone.
Roman Reigns entrance was longer than Liv Morgan Vs Stephanie Vaquer.
Let that sink in.
