Report: Ricky Saints concert segment removed from WWE social media after being poorly received
As seen during the March 3rd 2026 episode of WWE NXT, Ricky Saints performed a “concert” to mock NXT World Champion Joe Hendry. The segment received criticism from fans, with one person agreeing with Adam Copeland’s 2023 remarks about Saints being a “vanilla midget rip-off of The Rock.”
According to Fightful.com, the concert segment was removed from WWE’s Twitter/X account after being poorly received. It was noted that those Fightful spoke to in NXT “said the segment wasn’t a Ricky Saints pitch or idea, and wasn’t written by him, as he’s tried to lean away from things on WWE TV that would draw comparisons to what The Rock has done on TV.”
Furthermore, sources said that the backstage reaction was “lukewarm,” although those the outlet spoke with didn’t think it would hurt either Hendry or Saints. The belief is that they recovered well with their match at NXT Vengeance Day.
Ricky saints continues to prove Adam Copeland right.
