Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Mark Briscoe for the TNT title took place at AEW WrestleDream 2025. Here are the highlights…

The two had a feeling-out process in the early moments. After they began brawling on the outside, Briscoe placed Fletcher in a chair and delivered a cannonball dive onto him. Briscoe then went for a blockbuster off the apron but missed. Fletcher gained the firm upper hand by powerbombing Briscoe onto the steel steps.

Back in the ring, Fletcher worked over Briscoe with steady offense. Briscoe managed to fight back, and the two knocked each other down. Briscoe avoided a turnbuckle brainbuster but was then hit with a superplex.

The tide turned when Briscoe hit Fletcher with a Jay Driller on the apron. Briscoe missed his first Froggy Bow attempt but then connected with one while Fletcher was hanging on the ropes. He followed up with another from the top rope to the floor. Briscoe then got Fletcher back in the ring and delivered a third Froggy Bow, but Fletcher kicked out.

After the two traded nearfalls, Briscoe delivered the Jay Driller, but Fletcher got one finger on the rope. Fletcher then hit Briscoe with a low blow while the referee wasn’t looking and followed up with a brainbuster, but Briscoe kicked out. Fletcher was finally able to finish off Briscoe with a brainbuster onto the top turnbuckle.
