Kris Statlander (c) vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm for the women’s title took place at AEW WrestleDream 2025. Here are the highlights…

The two were evenly matched in the early moments as they exchanged technical moves. After fighting on the outside, Statlander managed to gain the advantage. Statlander worked over Storm but then missed a knee strike, allowing Storm to start building momentum after hitting a Tiger Driver.

The match continued to go back and forth. After hitting the Hip Attack, Storm went for the Storm Zero, but Statlander was able to block it. Statlander delivered a 450 splash, but Storm kicked out.

Storm was finally able to hit the Storm Zero, but Statlander kicked out. Statlander then hit the Saturday Night Fever and applied a submission hold with her legs. Storm escaped, but Statlander won with another Saturday Night Fever. After the match, Storm hugged Statlander as a sign of respect.
