Rush says he is “the happiest man in the world” amid AEW absence

Ahead of the 2026 AEW All In: London PPV event, Rush commented on his absence from AEW. This led to internet speculation about him potentially having a run with WWE or AAA. Rush responded to a fan on Twitter/X who said that AAA could use him by writing, “No thanks, my present is AEW.”

Rush addressed his ongoing absence from AEW after a fan asked when he would be returning. Rush replied, “Maybe next year.”

Rush responded to another fan claiming that he was “cooked,” stating that he pays attention to fans who want to see him wrestle and that he wants to wrestle for them. He added, “BUT, don’t say im on twitter complaining, I don’t complain, I am the happiest man in the world spending time with my family, PERRO.”

RUSH is cooked ? 🤣

I pay attention to the fanbase that wants to see me wrestle, I engage with my awaiting fans. I do want to wrestle for you all.

BUT, don’t say im on twitter complaining, I don’t complain, I am the happiest man in the world spending time with my family, PERRO. https://t.co/soa3N4ohWf
