Mick Foley says “hundreds of our elected leaders are too gutless” to speak up about Donald Trump
In late 2025, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley criticized United States President Donald Trump’s negative comments about the death of film director Rob Reiner. In a follow-up, Foley announced that he was “parting ways” with WWE due to the company’s association with Trump.
Foley, who now works for AEW, has continued to be publicly vocal about Trump. Following Trump’s speech at a Nebraska rally this week, Foley stated the following in an Instagram post…
“WHERE IS THE OUTCRY?
The President of the United States suggested that Iran should ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego — and the crowd applauded.
I really don’t want to post about politics on here. But when the most powerful man in the world seems to have no problem with the annihilation of millions of US citizens, I feel the need to speak up – especially when hundreds of our elected leaders are too gutless to do so.
Where is the outcry from Republicans? Cowards. Vote them out.”
