Results of Pretty Deadly vs. The New Day at WWE NXT Deadline 2022
Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) for the NXT tag team titles took place during the WWE NXT Deadline 2022 PLE. Here were the highlights…
* The crowd started a “heyyy we want the New Day” chant and Xavier got a nearfall on Wilson right off the bat. Prince and Kingston tagged in and there was a twerk-off between them.

* Kofi hit a dive to the outside on both Pretty Deadly members. However, New Day’s momentum was halted when Kofi was sent into the ring post.
* Xavier was able to get a hot tag and rebuild momentum for New Day. Pretty Deadly tried to use the Eddie Guerrero tactic of throwing the titles at New Day and falling down but New Day also fell down and the crowd chanted “this is awesome.”

* Wilson hit Xavier with the title while the referee was distracted but Xavier kicked out. Kofi hit Wilson with the TIP outside of the ring. Back in the ring, New Day hit midnight hour to Prince and Xavier scored the pinfall victory.
