Mercedes Mone (c) vs. Hikaru Shida for the TBS title took place at AEW All Out 2024. Here are the highlights…

* Mercedes was aggressive from the start but Shida was quickly able to recover. Shida delivered some offense but then Mercedes regained the upper hand with a powerbomb out of the corner. Mercedes worked over Shida until Shida was eventually able to make a comeback.

* Shida built up momentum but Mercedes was able to counter with a crossface. Shida escaped and the two exchanged strikes. Mercedes hit the double knees in the corner but Shida was able to kick out. Mercedes delivered the three amigos and went for the frogsplash but Shida got her knees up.

* Shida hit three falcon arrows but Mercedes managed to kick out. Shida delivered a running knee strike but Mercedes kicked out again.

* Shida hit three katana kicks and went for a cover but Mercedes quickly kicked out and rolled to the outside. Mercedes tried to grab a kendo stick but Shida took it away. Shida wanted to use it but dropped it. Shida went for a meterora but missed and Mercdes won with the Mone maker.
