Report: How many people actually attended WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas

According to new figures released by the Las Vegas Stadium Authority, WrestleMania 42 drew 97,126 attendees across two nights, marking a decline from the 118,641 reported for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. The Stadium Authority recorded 47,093 fans on Saturday and 50,033 on Sunday, representing a year-over-year drop of roughly 18%. WrestleTix estimated 102,092 tickets distributed, while WWE announced an attendance of 106,071.

The report also found that 81% of attendees traveled from outside Las Vegas, with 96% of Saturday attendees and 97% of Sunday attendees saying WrestleMania was their primary reason for visiting the city. Despite the decline, Brandon Thurston of PostWrestling.com noted that WrestleMania 42 “was still among the biggest gates in WWE’s history.”

WWE received a $6 million site fee from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to bring WrestleMania 42 back to Las Vegas for a second consecutive year, up from the $5 million paid for WrestleMania 41. Nevada also provided WWE with an estimated $4.3 million in film tax credits for WrestleMania 42, making the financial incentives attractive enough for WWE to reverse its previous plans to hold the event in New Orleans. The attendance decline also comes amid a broader slowdown in Las Vegas tourism, with April 2026 hotel room tax revenue falling to $5.31 million, compared to $5.62 million in April 2025.
