Report: Bayley has not signed a new WWE contract despite returning to television

As seen during the September 7th 2026 edition of WWE RAW, Bayley made her return to television after being absent for almost two months. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Bayley had agreed to a new contract with WWE.

However, PWInsider.com is reporting that the claim is incorrect. According to multiple WWE sources cited by the outlet, there have been no recent contract negotiations with Bayley because she still has significant time remaining on her current WWE deal.

PWInsider added that anyone claiming Bayley signed a new contract as part of her return is “100% wrong.”
