Potential locations for future international WWE events following the success of Backlash

Following the success of the 2023 WWE Backlash PLE in San Juan, Puerto Rico, there has been internet speculation about various international cities being considered to host future WWE events. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following in regards to one potential location…

“The idea of doing a major show in Perth, Western Australia, with the local tourism group co-promoting it has gotten more serious as WWE officials went to Perth to discuss such a show and it would be a PPV event.”

While speaking to Mark Andrews on My Love Letter to Wrestling, Becky Lynch commented on the possibility of WWE running a stadium event in Dublin, Ireland…

“We were just talking about that, yes, I gave the venue and all, the RDS, we can have one. I don’t know that we have the population to sustain it, but I think when you’ve got the UK and Europe so close, then absolutely.” (quote courtesy of Fightful.com)

As previously noted, Santos Escobar publicly talked about the idea of a major WWE event taking place in Mexico.
