Since the Triple H regime of WWE started, several stars that were released over the past year have been brought back to the company including Karrion Kross, Dexter Lumis, and Dakota Kai.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that there has been “a lot of talk within the last 24 hours” about former Hit Row member AJ Francis (Top Dolla) possibly returning to the company. In addition to being on Smackdown and NXT, Francis was the host of WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures on A&E. Johnson wrote the following…
“We are by several sources that Francis is expected to be at tomorrow’s Smackdown taping in Raleigh, NC, so we’ll see if this means he appears on camera or is being brought in for something related to the A&E series, which has been filming its second season.”
According to Johnson, Francis has not been part of the recent filming schedule and there are signs that WWE Hall of Famer Lita has stepped into his role.
Johnson later reported that Ashante The Adonis from Hit Row is also slated to be backstage at Smackdown. There is no word yet regarding B-Fab.
