News regarding changes being made to AEW Dynamite due to CM Punk situation

As previously noted, there was reportedly a physical altercation between members of The Elite and CM Punk after the 2022 AEW Out PPV event when The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega “stormed into” CM Punk’s locker room.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, there are changes being made to the September 7th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite due to the incident. Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho were reportedly not scheduled to part of this week’s show at first but will now be there for AEW’s debut in Buffalo, NY.

It was noted on F4WOnline.com that “there are suspensions stemming” and the site also stated the following…

“[Ace] Steel and Pat Buck will not be at Wednesday’s Dynamite, but it’s unconfirmed if they are officially suspended. Meltzer said he also believes the others involved in the fight will also not be brought to Buffalo.”

ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta vs. Daniel Garcia and Best Friends/Orange Cassidy vs. Death Triangle are the only matches that have been announced for Dynamite. MJF is also being advertised for an appearance.
