The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega reportedly “stormed into” CM Punk’s locker room

As previously noted, CM Punk reportedly has “big heat” and was involved in altercation with the Young Bucks after the 2022 AEW All Out PPV. This was said to have happened after CM Punk blasted Colt Cabana and Adam Page during the event’s post-show media scrum.

Initial information about the incident surfaced and Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com received additional details. Johnson noted that after Punk returned to his locker room, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks went there to confront him. There was reportedly a “physical altercation” between Punk and the Bucks but nothing has been said about who threw the first punch. Ace Steel was said to have gotten physically involved and then several AEW officials broke things up. It was said that at least one of the Bucks was sporting a black eye.

Johnson also wrote the following…

“We have heard from a number of people in the company backing one side and blaming the other. Some were backing Omega and The Bucks, given Punk’s comments, feeling Punk’s verbal statements led to the incident and he was the guilty party. Others were backing Punk and questioning why EVPs stormed into his locker room, placing Punk in a situation where he would be outnumbered and that their decision to go there was partly responsible.”

It’s believed that AEW officials are likely trying to determine where blame should be placed and there was some backstage sympathy for MJF since his return angle has been overshadowed.

In regards to Steel’s involvement, Fightful.com was told that he apparently “shoot cracked” Nick Jackson with a chair and there are sources that believe he won’t be with the company any longer.

Steven Muehlhausen of DAZN.com tweeted the following…

“The latest on Punk/Elite situation is The Young Bucks/Kenny Omega stormed into Punk’s locker room confirming PWInsiders report. The Bucks started yelling, Punk yelled back and hit Matt Jackson. Chaos ensued until security and AEW staff finally got The Elite out of there.”
