Matt Jackson could be missing the 2023 AEW Double or Nothing PPV due to an injury

During Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks suffered a partially torn bicep. The injury reportedly occurred during the AEW trios title match from the March 15th 2023 edition of Dynamite in Winnipeg, Canada. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted that it happened “early in the match but he worked the whole match with it.”

Dave Meltzer commented on how Matt could potentially miss the 2023 Double or Nothing PPV…

“He opted to not get surgery and is hopeful he’ll be back quicker. Surgery, you’re looking at seven months. As far as timetable, it’s probably not too long? I don’t know. Pay-per-view is in two months. Two months feels short, which is too bad if they are not on pay-per-view.”

As seen during the March 22nd Dynamite, an injury angle took place where the Bucks were attacked and taken away from the arena by ambulance.
