Belief that Mandy Rose wasn’t given the option by WWE to remove adult content
As previously noted, Mandy Rose was released by WWE one day after dropping the NXT women’s title to Roxanne Perez after it was discovered that she had adult content on her subscription website. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, it’s believed that Mandy was not given the option by WWE to pull the adult content.
Meltzer noted the following regarding why WWE decided to fire Mandy…
“Those in the company felt that had no other choice then to fire her because she was an active performer on the roster, and these were public photos and videos for customers, unlike several of the women stars who have had their personal private photos hacked and released without their knowledge or permission where the company saw the talent as the victims.”
Since Mandy had a main roster contract, it’s believed that she has a 90-day non-compete which would prevent her from joining AEW or Impact Wrestling until the middle of March. Several people sent in word that Mandy was moved to the Alumni section on WWE’s website.
