Asuka’s WWE RAW women’s title gets a new name/design change and Charlotte Flair returns

During the June 9th 2023 edition of WWE Smackdown, RAW women’s champion Asuka was presented with a new championship title. It was also revealed that the title is also being renamed to the “WWE women’s championship.”

Charlotte Flair ended up making her first appearance since Wrestlemania 39 and challenged Asuka for a title match. Asuka accepted the challenge.
