News regarding former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin potentially joining AEW
According to Fightful.com, former WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin is set to become a free agent this month as her two-year WWE non-compete clause expires. In early 2025, Samantha made a “guarantee” that she would return to wrestling at some point.
Fightful reported that AEW has internally discussed bringing Samantha into the company on multiple occasions for an on-screen role. However, an immediate appearance on Dynamite is not expected, and any potential arrival would likely happen further down the road.
