How much money TKO could lose if upcoming WWE and UFC events in the Middle East are canceled

Despite ongoing conflict involving Saudi Arabia and the Houthis, along with reports of attacks on infrastructure sites, WWE reportedly remains committed to holding Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia on November 7th 2026.

According to a report from Guggenheim dated October 20th, TKO (WWE’s parent company) could lose between $70 million and $90 million in EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) if its three upcoming Middle East events are canceled: WWE Crown Jewel on November 7th, a UFC event in Qatar on November 21st, and a UFC event in Saudi Arabia tentatively scheduled for December 5th.

The estimated loss would represent approximately 3.0% to 3.9% of TKO’s annual EBITDA.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com also noted the following…

“Besides the revenue from the planned UFC and WWE shows over the next two months, this could also put WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia in jeopardy. Morgan Stanley has estimated the government is paying $150 million for the show. We had been told by sources from Saudi Arabia the time the deal was finalized that the price tag was well over $100 million.”
