Brian Cage vents about not being on the 2026 AEW WrestleDream PPV card

AEW star Brian Cage took to social media to tout his in-ring performances while expressing frustration over being left off the 2026 AEW WrestleDream PPV card. Cage addressed the criticism he previously received about his promo skills, argued that he has continued to deliver strong matches, and called for the push that fans have been asking for.

Here is what Cage had to say…

“I told myself I wouldn’t do this again. I wouldn’t be doing this again in the car, yet here we are. You know, earlier this week I showed all of you— oh, you’re damn right I can talk. Then I showed you all a couple days later— well, I’ve already showed you multiple times that I can work. I had a match of the night after I just talked my ass off, flipping everybody around.

I saw the comments. I saw the comments. And this time we were talking about how I was going to get rammed through. No, no, no. All the comments were talking about, oh damn, Let me eat my words.

Oh damn, Brian Cage can’t talk that talk. Oh damn, Brian Cage can’t walk that walk. You know what? I know there’s been a lot of followers, a lot of believers, a lot of people backing Cage, a lot of people part of the Cage Brigade. And I’ll tell you what, I welcome everyone there with open arms.

Better late than never. And everyone turning the page to Brian Cage, hey, you’re welcome to join on in, buddy. Here we are. It’s fun here. It’s a good time here.

Every time I go out there, you’re damn right. I I own the spotlight, I have the match of the night, I get all of my stuff in. The athletic anomaly, the physical phenomenon, you just saw it all in person. You saw it there live on TV. And who’s there this weekend at WrestleDream?

That’s right, not me. And that’s anything but a dream, because you got the dream body, the dream body that everybody wishes for, the dream look, the creative wrestler brought to life. And we’re not at WrestleDream? That is a catastrophe. Once again, one more pay-per-view of the year, the most pay-per-views we’ve had out of any year since AEW, and Brian Cage still isn’t on one.

What is going on here? I appreciate everyone giving my flowers, give my flowers, give my praise, giving me my crown. I love it all, I love it all. But what we need, what we need is to get me on that PPV. What we need, as everyone keeps saying, is that Brian Cage push.

And push— we wouldn’t even need a push at this point. It’s just a little tiny nudge because we’re right there. The match is lit, the match is already lit. We just pour some Put some gasoline on it and boom, let me cook. I can feed, I can feed everyone in Miami, everyone in South Florida, for instance, because that’s where we’re gonna be this Wednesday.

I may not be at WrestleDream in Orlando, but Coral Gables, Florida this Wednesday. Brian Cage is gonna be there. I’m gonna be there. And just like last week I told you, I’m gonna show up and guarantee you 2 things. I’m gonna look better than everybody else.

I’m gonna go out there and have one hell of a banger, win or lose, because as I always say, who better than Brian Cage? Nobody.”
