Damian Priest vs. R-Truth on WWE SmackDown doesn’t end as planned

During the October 16th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Damian Priest faced R-Truth in a singles match. While making a comeback, Truth landed a missile dropkick but did not get back to his feet, prompting the referee to stop the match.

Priest grabbed a chair and appeared ready to continue the assault, but Fraxiom ran in to check on Truth, causing Priest to leave the ring.

According to Fightful.com, Priest was originally scheduled to defeat Truth before Fraxiom came out to prevent a post-match beatdown.
