Nikki Bella makes reference to Xavier Woods during match with Paige

During the October 16th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Nikki Bella faced Paige in a singles match. References were made to Nikki’s relationship with John Cena and Paige’s past with Xavier Woods as the encounter progressed.

Paige attempted a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Nikki countered into an STF. Paige reached the ropes to break the hold before raking Nikki’s eyes and hitting an Attitude Adjustment (Death Valley Driver) for a near fall.

Later, Nikki did the New Day’s clap to taunt Paige.

Nikki tried to send Paige into the referee, but Paige escaped and rolled Nikki up with her foot on the ropes to secure the three-count.
