Brawling Birds gained the early momentum against the champions. Bayne was able to slow the pace down with a big boot to Hayter while Kross slammed Windsor on the floor. Bayne and Kross worked over Hayter in the ring until Windsor was able to tag in. The tide turned when Bayne accidentally hit Kross. The Birds double-teamed Bayne, but Kross was able to make the save. The champions delivered multiple German suplexes, but the challengers came back with lariats, and everyone was down.

Hayter and Windsor continued their momentum with a double superplex to Bayne, but Bayne came back with a double German suplex to the challengers. Bayne and Kross hit the double chokeslam on Hayter, but Windsor broke up the pin attempt. Hayter and Windsor hit their finisher on Kross to become the new champions.
