Jon Moxley (c) vs. Nigel McGuinness in the Continental Challenge Cup Final for the AEW Continental title took place at AEW AEW All In: London 2026. Here are the highlights…

Moxley was quick to target the bad ankle that McGuinness had going into the match. Despite his injury, McGuinness was able to deliver mat-wrestling offense to Moxley. Moxley bit McGuinness and continued to work over the ankle. Moxley removed the protective tape that was around McGuinness’ ankle, but McGuinness used the tape as a weapon against Moxley. McGuinness hit the Tower of London, but Moxley was able to kick out.

Moxley regained the advantage with a cutter followed by a stomp to the ankle. Moxley applied the bulldog choke, but McGuinness was able to counter with the London Dungeon submission. However, Moxley countered into an ankle lock. McGuinness escaped and countered a sunset flip with a pin attempt, but Moxley kicked out.

Moxley regained the advantage by delivering a stomp. Moxley reapplied the ankle lock, and McGuinness desperately tried to reach the ropes but couldn’t and finally tapped out.

McGuinness received a standing ovation from the fans after the match. McGuinness bowed to the fans as his music played.
